Dialogue:

A: Waitress, bill please!

B: Oh, this one is on me tonight.

A: Well, let us comprise. How about making it a Dutch treat?

B: Ok. Just this once.

A: 侍应生,结帐。

B: 哦,今天我请客。

A: 我们折中一下吧,AA制怎么样?

B: 好吧,就这一次!

Notes:  在西方,与人吃饭之前一般都比须弄清楚是谁买单,是AA制(Go Dutch)还是有人请客?(someone’s treat).在国内就复杂了“走,吃饭去”(let’s go for dinner!)和“这次我做东”(this one is on me!)这两句话是同一个人说出来的时候,意思比较明白—说话人请客!
